link 24 Mar NFL approves 'Hines Ward rule'»

New rules passed by the NFL includes the unfairly nicknamed ‘Hines Ward rule,’ against blindside blocks that come from the blocker’s helmet, forearm or shoulder and lands to the head or neck area of the defender — like what Ward did to Bengal Keith Rivers last year.  Not exactly what you want to be remembered for, especially when it was legal when you did it.

Other rule changes are about kickoffs.
